Choose Instagram account (via Facebook Page)
After connecting, pick which Facebook Page (and its linked Instagram) to use.
Overview
Instagram posting in Social0 works through a linked Facebook Page. When you connect Instagram, you sign in with Facebook and then choose which Page (and its linked Instagram account) to use. You’ll see a list of Pages that have Instagram linked; pick one and confirm. That Instagram account will then appear in Social0 so you can send posts to it.
How to choose your Instagram account
- In Social0, go to Connections and click Connect for Instagram.
- You’ll be asked to sign in to Facebook and approve permissions.
- On the next screen you’ll see a list of Facebook Pages that have an Instagram account linked. Each option may show the Page name and the linked Instagram username.
- Select the Page (and Instagram) you want to use.
- Click Confirm or Connect. You’ll return to Connections with that Instagram account added.
If you have more than one Instagram account (each linked to a different Page), you can connect each one by going through the flow again and choosing a different Page.
Tips
- The Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook Page. If you haven’t set that up yet, do it in Facebook or Instagram settings, then come back to Social0 to connect.
- Only one Instagram account per Facebook Page. To use another Instagram account, connect its linked Page in a separate connection.
Common questions
Q: I don’t see my Instagram account.
A: Make sure it’s linked to a Facebook Page and that you’re an admin on that Page. Only Pages you manage (with linked Instagram) will appear.
Q: Can I connect a second Instagram account?
A: Yes. Connect again and choose the other Facebook Page that has the other Instagram account linked. Both will show in your Connections list.
