Fair usage policy

How Social0 keeps publishing fair — plan caps, API rate limits, and platform safeguards.

Overview

Social0 keeps the service reliable with plan limits, API hourly rate limits, a short anti-automation guard when posting to Twitter/X very quickly, and each network’s own rules.

What Social0 limits

LimitWhere it applies
Connected accountsFree 3 · Starter 5 · Growth 15 · Pro 50 — see Plans
Lifetime posts (Free)Up to 10 publish/schedule actions; drafts do not count
API requests / hourFree 60 · Starter 300 · Growth 1,000 · Pro 5,000 — see Rate limits
Fast X postingIf you publish to Twitter/X too quickly, Social0 may ask you to wait a few minutes

Platform limits (outside Social0)

LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, and others enforce their own rate limits and policies. If a publish fails with a platform rate-limit or policy error, wait and retry, or check that network’s help center.

Tips

  • Hitting Free’s 10 lifetime posts? Upgrade from Dashboard → Billing.
  • Hitting API 429? Slow down or upgrade for a higher hourly quota.
  • Publishing many posts to X in a short burst? Space them out if Social0 asks you to wait.
  • For plan feature gates (bulk tools, resurface, teams), see Plans.

Common questions

Q: What does Billing show for usage?
A: Your current plan and connected accounts versus your plan limit. Free also tracks lifetime posts used.

Q: Do LinkedIn or Instagram posts count toward Free’s post limit?
A: Yes. Free’s 10 lifetime posts count every publish or schedule on any platform. Drafts do not count. Paid plans remove that lifetime cap.

Q: What if X blocks or rate-limits my account?
A: That comes from X. Wait, reduce frequency, or check X’s own limits for your account type.
