Posting queue
Define weekly time slots in your timezone; use "Next Queue Slot" when scheduling to send posts to the next free slot.
Overview
The posting queue is a set of weekly time slots in your timezone (e.g. 09:00 and 12:00 on chosen days). When you schedule a post and choose Next Queue Slot in the schedule panel, Social0 assigns it to the next available slot. You don’t pick the exact time—the queue does it. Posts assigned to a slot show as Queued in your Posts list (they’re still “scheduled”; the label just shows they’re in the queue).
Important: Editing your queue (adding, removing, or changing slots or days) does not change posts that are already scheduled. Only new “Next Queue Slot” choices use the updated schedule.
Where to find it
- Dashboard → Settings → Queue tab (the page is titled Posting queue).
How the queue is set up
The queue page shows a table:
- Time — Each row is one posting time (e.g. 09:00, 12:00). Times are in your timezone.
- Days (Mon–Sun) — For each time, you turn that slot on or off per weekday. A green check means the slot is active that day; an empty circle means it’s off.
- + Add posting time — Adds another time row. You can have multiple times (e.g. morning and afternoon).
- Remove (×) — Use the × on a row to remove that posting time.
Your timezone is shown at the top (e.g. Timezone: Asia/Calcutta). All times in the table use that timezone.
How to schedule a post into the queue
- Create your post (Composer or Create flow) and select the accounts.
- In the Schedule post section, turn scheduling on.
- Choose Next Queue Slot. The UI shows the next free slot (e.g. “Sunday, Mar 15 – 12:00 PM”). That’s when the post will go out.
- Click Schedule. The post is queued and will publish at that slot.
You can still schedule to a specific date and time instead—pick the date and time fields instead of using Next Queue Slot. Those posts are “scheduled” but not “queued” (they don’t use the queue slots).
Where queue appears
- Settings → Queue — Create and edit your posting times and days.
- Schedule panel (when creating/scheduling a post) — Next Queue Slot uses these slots.
- Posts list — Queued posts show a Queued label and slot info.
Tips
- Use a few consistent times (e.g. 09:00 and 12:00) on the days you want to post so the queue is predictable.
- If you don’t see Next Queue Slot, you haven’t added any posting times yet. Add at least one time (and at least one day) in Settings → Queue.
Common questions
What’s the difference between “Schedule” and “Queue”?
Schedule = you pick a specific date and time. Queue = you choose Next Queue Slot and the post is assigned to the next free slot from your queue. Both are scheduled; “Queued” just means it’s tied to a queue slot.
If I change my queue, do existing scheduled posts change?
No. Editing your queue (times or days) does not affect posts that are already scheduled. Only new posts that you assign with Next Queue Slot use the updated queue.
Can I change which slot a post is in?
Yes. Open the post from the Posts list and change its schedule (e.g. switch to a different time or to a different queue slot if you edit and re-schedule).
