Troubleshooting

Billing

Fix payment, checkout, plan updates, and trial issues on Social0 cloud billing.

Overview

Cloud billing runs through our payment provider (Stripe and/or Dodo, depending on region and checkout). Most billing UI lives at Dashboard → Billing on social0.app.

Payment blocked or checkout fails

SymptomLikely causeFix
Checkout never loads / spinner foreverAd or tracker blockerDisable adblock for social0.app and the payment provider domain; try another browser

Blank or broken billing page

  1. Hard refresh Dashboard → Billing
  2. Disable adblock and privacy extensions
  3. Sign out and sign in again
  4. Try a different browser or network

If the page loads but plan is wrong, wait a few seconds after payment and refresh again (webhook delay).

Plan not updating after payment

Normal flow:

  1. Choose plan and complete checkout with payment provider
  2. Return to Social0 — plan should show active

If it still shows Free or the old plan after ~1 minute:

  • Refresh Billing
  • Confirm the charge email matches your Social0 account email
  • Email support@social0.app with charge date and receipt (no full card number)

See Billing FAQ — charged but plan didn’t update.

Trial / subscription ended — posts fail with "Payment required"

When a paid subscription ends (or free lifetime posts are exhausted), publish/schedule can fail with a payment-required style message.

  1. Dashboard → Billing — upgrade or add payment method
  2. Confirm plan shows active (or free posts remaining on Free)
  3. Retry the failed post from Posts
  4. Retry failed posts from Posts after the plan is active

Details: Billing FAQ — trial ended.

Cancel, change plan, refunds

  • Change plan: Billing page → select another plan
  • Cancel: Manage subscription on Billing (may redirect to payment provider)
  • Refunds: Policy in Terms and social0.app/terms. Contact support with account email and reason.

After cancel, you keep access until the period ends, then drop to Free (up to 3 accounts, 10 lifetime posts).

Tips

  • Keep your payment method current so your plan does not lapse unexpectedly
