Troubleshooting

Account limits

Max connected accounts, free vs paid tiers, and how to free a slot on Social0.

Overview

How many social accounts you can connect depends on your plan. Free includes a small connection cap and a lifetime free-post quota. Paid plans raise the account cap and remove the free-post limit.

Full comparison: Plans · Connecting accounts.

Free vs paid

TierConnected accountsPublish / schedule
FreeUp to 3Up to 10 lifetime posts (drafts do not count against the quota)
StarterUp to 5Unlimited posts (plan features apply)
GrowthUp to 15Unlimited posts + growth tools
ProUp to 50Unlimited posts + teams

When the free-post quota is used up, Social0 blocks Post now and Schedule until you upgrade. Saving drafts still works.

"Max accounts reached"

You hit your plan’s connection limit. Social0 blocks new connects until you free a slot or upgrade.

Free a slot:

  1. Dashboard → Connections
  2. Disconnect an account you no longer need
  3. Connect the new account

Disconnecting removes Social0’s access to post on that account; it does not delete the account on the platform.

Upgrade for more slots:

  • Free → Starter (3 → 5)
  • Starter → Growth (5 → 15)
  • Growth → Pro (15 → 50)

Open Billing to change plan.

Multiple accounts on one platform

You can connect more than one account per network (e.g. two Twitter accounts). Each connection counts toward your limit. When using the API, CLI, or MCP, pass the account UUID if multiple accounts share a platform — names alone can be ambiguous. See API errors.

Plan lapse

If a paid plan ends, you return to Free limits (3 accounts active, free-post quota). Extra connections may be marked inactive until you upgrade again. See Billing troubleshooting.

Tips

  • Disconnect unused accounts before connecting new ones on smaller plans
  • Workspace/team limits are separate from connection count — Teams
  • Free’s 10 lifetime posts cover every platform; paid plans remove that cap — Plans · Fair usage
