How to connect Instagram and what you can post.
Overview
You can post to Instagram through Social0 by connecting a Business or Creator account. Social0 supports two connect paths:
- Direct Instagram OAuth — sign in with Instagram and authorize Social0.
- Via Facebook Page — connect a Facebook Page that is linked to your Instagram professional account, then pick the Instagram account.
We support images, videos, and collection posts. Connection is done from Dashboard → Connections.
How to connect Instagram
- Go to Dashboard → Connections.
- Find Instagram and click Connect.
- Choose one of the flows offered:
- Direct Instagram — sign in to Instagram and approve permissions.
- Via Facebook Page — sign in to Facebook, pick the Page linked to the Instagram account you want, then select the Instagram account.
- Approve the permissions and you’ll return to Social0 with Instagram connected.
For the via Facebook Page path, the Instagram account must already be linked to that Page on Meta. Set that up on Facebook/Instagram first if needed, then reconnect in Social0.
What you can post
- Image - Single or multiple images with an optional caption.
- Video - Video with optional caption.
- Collection - Collection post (multiple images and/or videos in one post).
Tips
- Meta typically requires a Business or Creator Instagram account for third-party publishing. Direct OAuth skips the Facebook login UI; the via-Page path is useful when you manage multiple Pages.
- Via Facebook Page: only one Instagram account per connected Page. To use another Instagram account on that path, connect its linked Page separately.
- Captions and hashtags work like on Instagram; add them in the post when you create it.
