YouTube

Overview

You can connect your YouTube channel to Social0 and publish videos (with optional title and description). Connection is done from Dashboard → Connections. We only need permission to upload videos and read your channel info.

How to connect YouTube

1. Go to Dashboard → Connections.
2. Find YouTube and click Connect.
3. Sign in to Google/YouTube when asked and approve the permissions (upload and read).
4. You’ll return to Social0 with the channel connected.

When you create a video post, you can select your YouTube channel to receive it.

What you can post

• Video only — YouTube in Social0 is for video uploads. Add a title and description in the post when you create it.

Limits you’ll notice

• YouTube has its own limits on video length and file size. Very long or large videos may take a while to upload or process.
• We use your timezone and the time you set for scheduling; the video will be published at that time on YouTube.

Tips

• When you pick “Video” as the post type and choose YouTube, fill in the title and description so the video looks right on your channel.
• If your connection ever stops working, disconnect and reconnect YouTube from Connections.
