Connecting accounts
How to connect your social accounts to Social0 and what to expect.
Overview
Before you can publish or schedule posts, you need a paid plan and at least one connected social account. On the free tier you cannot connect accounts—you can only explore the dashboard. Once you’ve upgraded, go to Dashboard → Connections to connect your accounts. Each platform has its own sign-in flow; we only ask for the permissions we need to post and manage content for you.
How to connect an account
- Go to Dashboard → Connections.
- Find the platform you want (Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and click Connect.
- You’ll be sent to that platform to sign in (if you aren’t already).
- Approve the permissions Social0 requests (e.g. to post, read your profile).
- You’ll be brought back to Social0; the account will appear in your list.
After that, when you create a post you can choose that account (and any others you’ve connected) to receive it.
How many accounts you can connect
It depends on your plan:
- Starter — Up to 5 accounts.
- Growth — Up to 15 accounts.
- Pro — Effectively unlimited accounts.
If you’re at your limit, the Connections page will say so and you can upgrade from Billing.
Connection status
On the Connections page you’ll see each account and its status. If a connection is expiring soon or has expired, we’ll show a warning. For most platforms we refresh connections automatically; if one fails, you may need to disconnect and reconnect that account.
Tips
- Connect the accounts you use most first so you can start posting right away.
- If an account stops working (e.g. you changed your password on that platform), try disconnecting and reconnecting it.
- TikTok may show your creator name after connection; that’s normal.
Common questions
Q: Is it safe to connect my accounts?
A: We use each platform’s official sign-in. We only request permissions needed to post and manage content. We don’t see or store your password for those platforms.
Q: Can I connect the same platform twice (e.g. two Twitter accounts)?
A: Yes. Connect one account, then connect again and sign in with the other. Each will appear separately when you create a post.
Q: What if my connection says “Expired”?
A: Disconnect that account and connect it again. You’ll sign in to the platform again and we’ll get a fresh connection.
