Overview

Connect

Issue	Workaround
Instagram connect fails or wrong account	Try direct Instagram OAuth first. If you connected via Facebook Page, confirm the Instagram account is linked to that Page on Meta, then reconnect. Instagram

Posting

Multi-platform job `partial` success	Some platforms succeeded, others failed. Poll `status` / `get_publish_status` until terminal; read per-platform errors; reconnect failed accounts and retry only those
TikTok publish failed — privacy	TikTok requires acceptable privacy/settings on the connected creator account. Check TikTok app settings, then reconnect if needed
Pinterest publish failed — board	A board must be selected for the pin. Reconnect or pick board when creating the post — Pinterest

API & integrations

`platforms` validation error	Pass account UUIDs from `GET /v1/accounts`, not platform names like `"linkedin"`. API errors

Ambiguous platform in CLI	Run `social0 accounts --json` and use numeric ID or UUID when multiple accounts share a network

Uploads

HEIC / WebP / GIF rejected	Convert to JPEG or PNG (images) or MP4 (video)
Video upload OK, publish fails metadata	Re-encode to H.264 MP4; check platform duration limits
