Text post
How to create a text-only post and where you can send it.
Overview
A text post is words only—no image or video. You write your message, pick which accounts get it, and publish or schedule. It works on Facebook, Bluesky, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and Threads.
How to create a text post
- Open the Composer and type (or paste) your text. Don’t add any images or video.
Or go to Create → Text post. - Click Continue (if you started in the Composer).
- Select the accounts that should receive the post.
- Click Publish now to post right away, or Schedule to choose a date and time.
Each platform has its own character limit (e.g. Twitter/X). We’ll show how much space you have as you type.
Where text posts work
- Bluesky
- Twitter/X
- Threads
If you need an image or video, use Image post or Video post instead.
Tips
- Keep an eye on the character counter if you’re posting to Twitter/X; we’ll trim or warn you if you go over.
- You can save as a draft and come back to publish or schedule later.
Common questions
Q: Can I add a link in a text post?
A: Yes. Paste the link in the text. Each platform will show it in its own way (e.g. as a preview).
Q: Why don’t I see Instagram or YouTube for text?
A: Instagram and YouTube in Social0 are for image/video/collection or video only. Use another post type for those.
