Troubleshooting

Activation & login

Fix sign-in, email verification, password reset, and session issues on Social0.

Overview

Social0 supports Google sign-in and email + password. Email sign-up requires a one-time verification code. Password reset uses a 6-digit code sent to your inbox. Most login problems on cloud are expired codes, wrong email, or using Google when you signed up with email (or the reverse).

When you sign up with email, we send a 6-digit code. Codes expire after a while for security.

Google vs email

  • Google: One-click sign-in; no Social0 password unless you add one later in Settings.
  • Email: Name, email, password at sign-up, then verify email before onboarding.

If you forgot which you used, try Google first if you usually use Google elsewhere for that email address.

Forgot password

  1. Sign-in page → Forgot password
  2. Enter the email on your Social0 account
  3. Enter the 6-digit code from email on Reset password

Details: Forgot password.

Tips

  • Use a private/incognito window only to rule out extensions — then sign in normally once it works.
  • Clear site data for social0.app only as a last step; you will need to sign in again.
  • For API/CLI auth issues (401), see API authentication — that is separate from dashboard login.
